THEO10 and RON9 have recently launched a Nano Aerial Catalytic Liquid + (NACL+) service. It is a Disinfectant and Repellent Fogging service that provides disinfecting surfaces as well as repelling mosquitoes. It utilises the electrostatic charges technology to coat surfaces in an area which allows the area to be disinfectant and mosquito-free.
According to the NEA, Fogging is recommended where there is an increased presence of adult mosquitoes. Fogging is also necessary when there is a need to eliminate infective mosquitoes immediately during a dengue or other mosquito-borne-disease outbreak.
With the recent increase in the number of dengue cases and deaths due to dengue in Singapore, we have pushed forward our plans and decided to launch our fogging services during this time.
The fogging services will not only kill or repel mosquitoes, it will also disinfect the whole area which is extremely important during this pandemic.
In addition, the fog is extremely safe when it comes into contact with human skin. The reason is because we do not use harsh chemicals in our mosquito repelling agent such as DEET. DEET can be a strong chemical which causes skin reactions such as skin itchiness, red patches or even rashes.
In extreme rare cases, DEET seems to have been related to the cause of seizure of children and eventually death. While there has not been direct scientific proof that DEET harms the nervous system, it can be acknowledged that long exposure of DEET on the skin would cause irritation to the skin.

Hence because our product and mosquito repellents are DEEt-free, it is family-friendly especially those who have extremely sensitive skin or babies at home.
- It will leave the area a little foggy for an hour for the electrostatic attraction to take place fully.
- Leaves users with a pleasant pandan smell.
- A small amount of liquid will be enough to cover the whole room.
- QAC (Quaternary Ammonium Compounds)
- Neem oil
- Pandan extract
- Distilled water
How it works?
When the machine is turned on, the liquid in the machine would be forced into a gaseous state immediately under high heat and high pressure. The gas will then dissipate and fill the air.
By principle of diffusion, the gas will travel from the area of higher concentration which initially is the area near the machine, to the area with lower concentration in a fog state.
After an hour, the electrostatic charge that is present inside the gas will coat the areas it comes into contact with, including human skin.
The electrostatic charges will then cling onto the surfaces and the nanoparticles will form an electrostatic coating in the air that lasts for up to 30 days.
This will then disinfect the whole area, as well as repel mosquitoes.
Why is it able to coat surfaces?
In the machine, electrostatic charges are injected into the liquid when heated up. As the liquid gets dissipated into the air, the electrostatic charges present in the liquid will be attracted to the electrostatic charges on surfaces around the area.
This ensures that the whole area comes into contact with the gas and there are no missing spots.
With the attraction of the charges, the gas molecules will then create a layer of coating on the surface which will last for 30 days.
Why is it able to disinfect?
In the liquid, it contains QAC (Quaternary Ammonium Compounds). It is a common alcohol-free disinfectant chemical commonly found in disinfectant wipes, sprays and other household cleaners that are designed to kill germs.
With the help of the electrostatic charges in the liquid, the gas is more able to move to all areas automatically, thus being able to disinfect a much larger area compared to a disinfectant spray where there may be blind or unreachable spots.
Our disinfectant liquid using QAC is officially proven to be effective to kill bacteria beyond 99.999%.
Why is it able to repel mosquitoes?
In the liquid, it also contains neem oil. Neem oil has a strong garlic-like scent that is critical in repelling and deterring mosquitos away.
Neem is made of many components with the most active ingredient being Azadirachtin. It reduces insect feeding and disrupts the mosquitoes feeding habit.
It also interferes with insect hormone systems, making it harder for insects to grow and lay eggs, thus killing and reducing the number of mosquitoes.
Why should I use the NACL+ machine instead of a disinfectant spray or mosquito repellent?
The machine is able to disinfect and coat all surfaces in the whole area, leaving no blind spots. Compared to a regular disinfectant spray or a mosquito repellent spray where one has to physically aim the surface to utilise not mentioning some areas which may not be reachable by hand.
How many times can I disinfect the room with 1 litre of NACL+ liquid?
Based on 1-hour of misting per day, you are able to mist the room about 15 times.
Where should I place the fogging machine in the room?
The ideal location is where the dry-mist machine is unblocked, this will allow the mist to reach all parts of the room. Our suggestions: at or above table height and centrally located in a room. If there is circulation in the room, the machine does not necessarily need to be centrally located. Ideally, all windows should also be closed.
How many hours should I mist per day?
Usually 1 hour per room, per day is enough.
